Yamaha PSS keyboards YMxxxx chips.

Hello I was thinking, if we already have support for YM3812 (Yamaha PSS 460-470-560-570-others) and YM2413 (Yamaha PSS 170-270-others) Can we have support for other chips found in other Yamaha keyboards? I would really like to have support for these:

YM2420: (SHS 10, SHS 200) 2 op, similar to 2413 we already have support.
YM3420: (PSS 480, 580, 680, 780) 2 op
YM7129: (PSS 290, 390) 2 op, similar to 3420
YM2164: (DX 100) 4 op, similar to YM2151, its like his big brother.
YM2414: (DX 11) 4 op, similar to YM2151

YM3427: (PSS 100) Basic shapes, it can produce sounds similar to a NES or master system.

I know that the YM2164 has been mentioned before as an option to be selected in the chip settings of the 2151. Not much has actually come of it quite yet though, to my knowledge.

I believe my request is quite feasible. Since most of these chips are very similar, I wish we could use Furnace to control the PSS 480, 580, 680, and 780 chipsets via MIDI. I currently use Ctrlr for this, but it would be amazing to control the keyboard chip directly within Furnace. At the very least, it would be great to have the 3420 chip included in Furnace; it's a very nice 2-op chip and sounds surprisingly professional for a 2-op configuration.

YM2414 aka Yamaha OPZ is already in furnace
YM2164 aka Yamaha OPP is OPM except for slight difference in registers and slightly faster LFO

There has been a lot of discussions recently, and I’d like to bring this request back to attention. I understand that I might be the only one particularly interested in these chips, but I believe they could be a valuable addition to Furnace. Their development might even be relatively straightforward, given their similarities to other existing chips.

Are there any updates regarding this request? Is there a possibility to add these Yamaha YMxxxx chips from the PSS keyboards line and use those keyboards to control Furnace?

I could maybe help with testing? I own these keyboards:

PSS 270 (same as PSS 170)
PSS 390 (same as PSS 380, 290, 280)
PSS 470 (same as PSS 570,560, 460)
PSS 580 (same as PSS 480, 680, 780)
PSS 680 (same as PSS 480, 580, 780)
PSS 100 (same as other models I don't remember)
DX100 (almost the same as YM2151)

I think the PSS-470 is just OPL2 or OPLL, so they're fine.

the 480 though... Is there even an emulation of that line's soundchip? I haven't seen anything about it myself

Everything else, idk really, other than the DX100. The YM2164 was used in the IBM Music Feature Card, so it should be added, even if it's just a toggle in the Chip Settings for the 2151, like what the YM2612 has

Yes, there are emulators and programs that let you control the keyboard with your PC too (for 480,580,680,780)
