Would this be used just when changing the chip (and thus changing the type of the channels in that position) or could it also be used for copying data from one channel to another (e.g. copy-paste) (I'd love that)? |

Hello,
I have imported a MOD file where the volume in the patterns is in the range 00-40.
Then I change the chip type to AY3-8910, where volumes are in the range 0-F.
The result is keeping the previous volumes in the pattern, and apparently the high 4 bits are just ignored when playing. It would be very convenient to have a way to convert these volumes (ideally with a logarithmic table in this case because of the volume curve of the AY3-8910). Doing it manually is a little annoying.
If you have any suggestion so I don't need to manually replace all volume entries in my track, that would be great too :)
