Please give a brief description of the data
Federal Reserve Financial Data from 1980s Where can we get the data? https://fred.stlouisfed.org/ Is there a publication related to the data
A clear and concise description of any alternative solutions or features you've considered.
No, the data was pulled using API Keyy I requested from FRED Is your data multivariate or univariate?
Multivariate with roughly 85 columns Is there a default train/test split for the data
If not, we will create one randomly. If this is inappropriate (e.g. want to avoid test subjects being in both train and test splits) let us know and advise on how we should split
No Are there any missing values/padding?
We do not want to pre pad data. If the series are not equal length, please let us know
There are no missing values. However, values for SP500, NASDAQ, DJIA in 1980s and 1990s were filled from Yahoo finance and Google Finance. They were flat lining in FRED database. I contacted them 3 months ago, there is still no progress on it. The Copper prices are also flatlining but I was not able to find them elsewhere. Is there a picture for the data we can put on the website? www.kaggle.com under Vivek R. Dabholkar How would you like the donation attributed on the website?
I do not know Can you provide a paragraph description, including the meaning of the class values, for the website?
This database is on Federal Reserve Financial Data which is of great importance in relation to predicting future moves on FF_rate Fred_Mnthlylin_1980_VRD.xlsx
