Is this with firmware v1.7.x? Do you know what encryption type the router
is using? Thanks!

Firmware 1.7.4 is installed on view. Encryption is WPA2 |

One further information: Just recognized that the reason why view is showing wifi ssid 3 times is because the wifi is being repeated by 2 other AirPort routers. When one of those is switched off view shows only 2 times wifi's ssid |

Ok, good to know. WPA2 is supposed to work just fine (it's what I'm using,
although not with an Airport). Any characters are supposed to work now,
too, but if there anything unusual about the name or password (you don't
need to post it here, just let me know if it has any odd characters)?
A quote (") character probably won't work in either the name or password,
but other than that I can't think of anything else. Had it worked on a
prior version, or is this the first you've used it with the Airport?

No SSID and Password just contain Numbers and (capital) characters - no quotes or comparable characters |

For what it's worth, I have no trouble connecting to my VIEW to my AirPort Extreme. My security is set too 'WPA2 Personal'. |

The problem is that i have a Airport Network with 2 Airport Basestations extending the WIFI here! |
