install arch to nvme

I have tried installing to nvme from this guide, however I have not been successful. I am unsure of a few parts in the guide, such as the images for the uboot.img and trust.bin, do I need to get the file sizes and add those sizes before using dd and seek? Also I have no choice in using the nvme, the eMMc was corrupt, very badly due to a crash with lubuntu and I had to desolder it. I may have to end up trying to rework a new eMMc chip onto the board. However I feel like I could be able to find a way to install to an nvme and boot with that. Any guides on this matter?
