Sometimes, the solution to a card is in the title, for example "(19xx film)" or "xx invasion (19xx-19xx)". As a first approximation, excluding cards with the actual solution in the title seems easy and good.
That still won't catch things like titles that give the beginning of a period when the end is asked for, but those would probably require regexes and would be more prone to errors, so idk if that would be worth the effort.
