First of all, this is my first experience with triplea games and it has been absolutely amazing. Huge fan of Axis and Allies 1940 global but with a busy life it is much harder to find time to play against my brothers. This is a godsend.
Secondly, In my first game as Germany and Italy against the Easy AI on all other nations I encountered what I believe to be a bug. Somehow 10 infantry and 3 artillery of Chinas got stuck in the Himalayas during one of their earlier turns and were never able to get out. I am not sure how this happened as it was under AI control. My guess is maybe something with the retreat mechanic allowed this to happen? Either way it was a huge blow to China and Japan was able to easily steamroll the remaining troops.

Glad you found triplea and are enjoying it. Not much work getting done on easy AI these days. You may want to post on the forum AI thread for better feedback.
@Jackmorris17
One cause of this is that "Himalayas" is considered Chinese capital. It would be easier to trace the cause if a saved game could be provided.
