The same issue is in Tusky. In timeline, mostly correct behavior:

True, the @ symbol is in the wrong place in the top image. I mentioned this in the Pachli issue.

I meant that when I open that post in Tusky via mastodon.social, it looks like in your second screenshot everywhere. Hometimeline, search, account timeline, details.

This was fixed in Pachli: pachli/pachli-android#906

Note, if you copy over the fix do not include any of the android:textDirection="anyRtl" changes. See the discussion for details.
