I was just wondering if there was a way to get the page number feature back on marketplace. It used to serve as a good gauge as to how many products were posted in total (with continuous scrolling, there is no way to know how much is coming up/left...and how long I will be sitting there before I reach the end). Page numbers were also a good way to find things if I wanted to go and come back to something or the place I last stopped when browsing the items (even if new items were added, they would shift positions on that page, or go to the very next page, but with continuous scrolling it is some ambiguous/unknown percent of content in the site scrolled into). In this sense, page numbers act like a marker and progress bar. I know there are categories you can filter by, but the problem of continuous scrolling is still present (and I usually prefer to see all items together).
I have talked with others who share the same sentiment. Also, places with high influx of user postings (Ebay and Craigslist, for example) use the paging system. Would this be something you guys would consider bringing back to marketplace?
