Character Count Plugin

Hi,

I am trying to create a character count plugin. I just copied pasted from the docs and have:

export const createCharacterCountPlugin = (options?: WithCharacterCountOptions): SlatePlugin => ({
  pluginKeys: CHARACTER_COUNT,
  onChange: editor => {
    const charCount = countChars(editor);
    console.log(charCount);

})

this one listens to every change, the method returns the character count and console it.
But I need to pass the value to a component i am exporting as well to render the count. Any idea how?

You can use a global store updated by onChange.

@zbeyens thank you, when I have something like: const editorStore = useSlatePluginsStore() I get an object with only one propertiy with key of "3" and the needed value, any idea what is that key and if it changes if specific something changed?
