Ability to assign multiple types for an autoFormat rule

I want to replicate these rules from Discord.

I tried doing this to implement bold italic text but it didn't work:

    rules = [
        {
           type: [MARK_BOLD, MARK_ITALIC],
           between: ["***", "***"],
           mode: "inline",
           insertTrigger: true
        }
    ]
}

Is there any correct way to do this with Plate?

I think it'd be a great addition. So far I've really been enjoying working with your library. It's really unique and intuitive. I'm also gonna change the category of this thread to idea since you've already answered my question.
