Is your proposal related to a problem?

I'm always frustrated when I want to access some files of the host machine in V - DSM.

Describe alternatives you've considered.

At first, I mounted the files into V - DSM through SMB sharing. However, I found that some DSM packages prompted that they couldn't access the remotely - mounted directories.
