[Domain] Can not point subdomain to external ip

Hi,
Currently, I'm using 3rd party nameservers. I'm trying to add a subdomain as A record and points it to an external ip address. Configuration is added for 24 hours but when I recheck with dig a sub.domain.com on the Terminal, it shows Vercel's ip address in stead of mine.
Is there any misconfiguration? Any guidance would be appreciated!
