ab28376 is a quick fix, but we should be able to:

  • show warnings in the UI about missing data
  • show red areas in the graph where there's no data, and have the graph run normally when there is data. or show point markers.

if graphite has null values, it should somehow be apparenty, preferrably in the plot.
