Well, given the fact, that vimperator.org's usage will go down drastically once it's not compatible with FF57 anymore, I don't think the effort of moving the site to another hoster is worth it. However, thanks for the suggestion, didn't know netlify, but looks nice.

According to https://help.github.com/articles/securing-your-github-pages-site-with-https/ - https is not supported on custom domains, but we should keep this open, to regularly check if that has changed.
