When i run the script, it all looks good until the section "Preparing to Replace Certificate.". This error comes up, and there is no trace of a error log. This is also for Vcenter v8 - not sure if there is a huge difference than V7
Status: A system exception was caught.

Hi, I've not personally tested it on vCenter 8 but someone commented on my blog it works on 8. The error you are getting seem like the subject alternative name doesn't match. If don't mind sharing what is your configuration, vCenter FQDN, and ssl common name?
I have also encountered this same issue for my test lab. Would you like to collaborate towards a resolve? Happy to share all details offline / catchup.
