I don't quite understand the functionality of your project, I run test, and then the computer and IOS device in a local area network. Is it my iOS phone to search to this server?

As the readme says, this is a "low level AirPlay server", that you can use to "use to easily implement your own AirPlay functionality". You can implement an AirPlay server that receives an audio (video as well?) stream and can pipe it into something (e.g. speakers or a file).

Once you implemented your (custom) AirPlay server and ran it, you can send audio from your iPhone to it.

For ready-to-go AirPlay servers, check shairplay or nodetunes.
