I can't install any app #304
Comments
Same here, after my Youtube app dissapearing, most likely to an WebOS update. Doesn't work, and when I try to use the CLI tools I get "signature verification failed". Might be related. |
same here, infinite "please wait" loop, app version: latest v1.99.5 |
Same problem here |
Same here. Lost my previously installed apps (HomeBrew Channel and YouTube), and then get into infinite loop when trying to reinstall. app version: v1.99.8 |
I had the same issue on my MacBook, so I tried it on my Windows PC. Initially, it didn't work there either. However, I removed the TV from the app and reconfigured it. After that, everything worked fine, and I was able to install YouTube Adfree again. |
@bmekni I tried that, but still no luck. I also tried installing an apk directly, instead of using the available channel apps. Stuck at "Please Wait" again But when I tried to install the apk with @webos-tools/cli, using the same ose profile as Dev Manager Desktop, it worked just fine and without a hitch |
Having same issue. Tried rolling back to an earlier version of webos manager so I could remove devices, re-added my TV, still gets stuck at installation. |
I also lost my apps (Homebrew Channel + YouTube AdFree) a few days after an update of LG Content Store. I got the infinite "please wait" loop when trying to reinstall apps with webOS Dev Manager. The fix for me was to reset the TV :
Then i got an error in webOS Dev Manager :
The fix was to re-add my TV as a new device. Now I can install apps without errors ✅ It's a pretty annoying fix because you have to reconfigure all the settings on the TV... |
I had the same problem, then I tried what @m4zd4r said and it worked. |
Thanks! I'll give it a try.
