Device Type

Windows

Dev Manager Version

v1.13.3

Model

OLED65C2PSC

webOS Version

webOS 8.3.0

Rooted

No (with Dev Mode)

Bug Description

I've tried installing v1.99.5 in Windows 7 Ultimate and it appears to install just fine, but won't run at all. No error messages, just won't run. Only thing I can do with it is uninstall. Reinstallation of v1.13.3 works fine and runs and works perfectly. May I presume this means that v1.99.5 isn't supported in Windows 7 anymore and no longer works?

By installing webview2 component on your computer, you may be able to get it to work.

However, because Windows 7 is too old (although it's the best version in the history IMO), I can't guarantee it works.

Thank you very much for the suggestion. Trying to install the runtime but having difficulty stripping the GUID from the executable to only install the bare runtime without the whole of Microsoft Edge along with it.
