I noticed that the geometry for locality: Ko Lanta doesn't fit the shape of the island.
I suspect, from local knowledge, that this geometry was sourced from social checkins at the most touristic areas of the island, such as the boat dock at the North (I think there's a bridge there now) and the commercial areas of Sala Dan on the northern third of the island.
The 'nicer' (quieter) parts of the Island aren't covered by this geometry such as Mu Koh Lanta National Park at southern tip of the island and Kantiang Bay.
An easy fix would be to copy the geometry from county: Ko Lanta to the locality record.
There may be other cases of this in the other popular islands: Samui, Phangan, Tao, Chang, Lipe etc.
As per our discussion about Crimea, generally speaking these localities are conterminous to the Peninsulas/Island.
