Not working with react-hot-loader

React-sidenav is not working with react-hot-loader (version 4.3.1).
There are blank Navs whenever you try to import react-hot-loader into the project.

Changes made:
.babelrc
,"plugins": ["react-hot-loader/babel"]

package.json
"playground": "webpack-dev-server --hot --content-base playground ",
....
,"react-hot-loader": "4.3.1" (in "devDependencies" section)

index.js
import { hot } from 'react-hot-loader';
