currently (v.0.2.0) the message sequence is always wrapped in <pre><code>...</code></pre> or the markdown equivalent.

this makes provides a 'code snippet box' with a copy to clipboard button, if using element chat

an option without it to directly allow selection + copy + paste would probably enhance usability on other chat implementations.
