Dino Crisis 3 - Error on main/start menu if Resolution Scale is over 1x #1783
Comments
It works fine for me at 3x upscaling. No errors at all. CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX with Radeon Graphics |
Think I read on some similar issues and it was Nvidia being the problem. Will gladly do tests if that's needed. |
Oh, hmm, what could it be then, not sure what to try? EDIT: That version 0.7.118 works better, but it throws errors when opening the menu with "L". Can the other user with the Nvidia GPU confirm this? |

Hi Zerowalker and everyone, I have tried using my Pc with Nvidia card, and I can play [Dino Crisis 3] normally in the beginning section, as shown in the picture. I hope this information can help you and others identify the problems with the game. Thank you! My PC System Information: |
That's so odd, we got the same OS, GPU and driver version. |
The version of Xemu with Vulkan works fine, I'm wating the official version of Xemu with Vulkan to be launched, a lot of games are with this problem and Vulkan can fix all these problems. |
Tried it and did indeed not get the errors on start at least. But it was sadly a lot slower. Odd that OpenGL is "broken" though, not sure how to troubleshoot the cause. |

Bug Description
On boot it will show some logos, show the main menu.
This causes errors if you have set the resolution scale to anything except 1x.
You can ignore up to 4 then it freezes.
If you have 1x you can then change it to a higher value after the main menu is showing.
However when you then start the game, pressing start to show the start menu throws the same error.
So it's probably related to how it displays those kind of menus.
Expected Behavior
Show the main/start menu.
