Tabs should have set a minimum height

Describe the feature

Currently, tabs are clearly dependent on the font used in the UI. Unfortunately, this means that if we use a small font, the tabs become very small and more difficult to navigate with the mouse. I think they should have a minimum height and some minimal side padding.
