Passkey functionality not working on Mac OS Ventura

What happened?

I am unable to use the fingerprint scanner on my Mac to sign in to YouTube using Passkey. I just get a pop-up that says "Touch your security key to continue with accounts.google.com" but nothing happens when I do that. See screenshot below:

Reproducible?

• I have checked that this issue cannot be reproduced on Mozilla Firefox.
