Sidebar expand on hover - transparent background issue

The transparent background of the expanded (on hover) sidebar inhibits using it correctly.
I have some sites showing up with a light background, while most other sites are dark (macos, dark theme by default).

I do agree that the website background color would not match 100%, but the theme/color of the sidebar (when its not expanded) and with a proper z-index, imo this issue can be fixed.
