show state in EVENTS log upon state change

in the device#show page it would be nice if the EVENTS log included state whenever there is a new state.

seeing transitions in the EVENTS log is great. and showing state as a visualization works too.

but for fast state changes, I'm not sure if I'm just missing the states in the visualization or if my code is wrong and the state isn't changing like I expect.
