Hi again! Once you've finished binning with this tool, how does one typically go about trying to assign taxonomy to these? Do you concatenate all of the contigs within a vrhyme bin together and then use something like vcontact2? Just wondering what the most appropriate approach is with the vrhyme binning tool in mind. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

It's hard to suggest anything because there are many options and it varies depending on your goal/data. Yes, one approach is to concatenate bins and use vcontact2. Keep an eye on how proteins are predicted and ensure you don't get false connections with proteins that have strings of X/N at junction sites.
