Presentation

Soft course is a course format that display only sections with an image and an optional text on the course homepage. List of resources and activities are hidden on the course homepage.

• The first section (section 0) is used to present course and display a "Start" button.
• The next sections are represented by a visual completed by a short text. A progress bar and the number of resources/activities are visible too when section are hover.

We suggest to use this course format with our block course Module Navigation. In this way, you can present a summary of the course in each page (resources or activities) of your course.

Recommandation

• We recommand to describe a section with a maximum of 50 words
• You can choose a specif image to illustrate each section. We recommand to use iamge with dark contrast or to change color of font before the image in your theme
