Rome - The Eternal City Project Description Rome - The Eternal City is an informative website that offers an in-depth overview of the city of Rome, one of the most iconic historical and cultural destinations in the world. The project was developed to highlight Rome's extraordinary historical, artistic, and architectural heritage, focusing on some of its most famous landmarks, such as the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain.

The goal of the website is to provide users with an accessible and engaging resource to virtually explore the city and learn key historical, cultural, and tourist information.

Key Features History of Rome: A section dedicated to narrating the foundation and historical evolution of the city, with a particular focus on Rome's role as the epicenter of the Roman Empire and Western civilization. Rome's Monuments: A curated list of the most representative monuments, accompanied by links to external resources for further details and insights. Contact Section: A section allowing users to obtain additional information and request details on guided tours or personalized tourist experiences. Project Structure The project was developed using standard web technologies, with a particular focus on content organization and navigation simplicity. The main sections include:

Header: Contains an intuitive navigation bar with links to the website's key sections and external reference resources. Main: The central body of the website, featuring sections dedicated to the history and monuments of Rome. Footer: Includes copyright information and additional links. Technologies Used HTML5: For semantic structure and content organization. CSS3: For the design and styling of the web pages, to enhance user experience (referencing the style.css file). External Links: Integration with authoritative external resources, such as Wikipedia and tourist portals, to provide a comprehensive informational experience. Installation and Usage Clone the repository or download the source files. Open the index.html file in any modern browser. Ensure that the style.css file is present in the correct directory to guarantee proper rendering of the design.
