"Quality of Life Update Pt. 1"

Release Date: February 16th, 2022

Pt. 2 Release TBA.

Why two parts? It has been two months since the last theme update and I'd rather not delay the release any further. Pt. 2 will likely introduce more theme toggles and other QoL things.

Please report any bugs found by making an issue on the Issue Tracker or reporting in the #theme channel in our Discord Server! We cannot fix bugs that aren't reported!

We've added clear lamps, chart authors, and mine indicators to the Difficulty Select screen! No more trying to remember what lamp you achieved, if there's any mines, and who wrote the chart.

3D Noteskin Previews!

Thanks to JoseVarela, 3D noteskins now appear properly on the OptionsList.

More Player Options!

We've added more options to allow for players to remove mines and adjust song speed.

More Menu Backgrounds!

I (Inori) finally discovered what was causing issues with the game locking input on the Title and Mode select screens. The previously disabled backgrounds are now enabled and can be used.

Minor Changes:

  • Service Options expanded horizontally to make navigation/reading easier.
  • Cleanup of Screen In/Out scripts to help with performance. #13
  • ScreenFilter system moved to use ProfilePrefs
  • Cleanup of Fonts directory, fonts are now split between font families.
  • Addition of Hangul and replacement of Japanese fonts.
  • Song Graphics on Select Music now size Banners and Backgrounds properly.
  • Sort Numbers for Group Folder names are automatically removed if group.ini is not used.
  • General code rework.
