Inventory Mode

In Inventory Mode, the BeanCounter will use only one of its sensors to count as quickly as possible. This has the consequence that counts in both directions will be added together because the BeanCounter is unaware of the direction of count. This mode makes the BeanCounter capable of counting twice as fast, which is useful for counting long tape and partial reels.

Getting into Inventory Mode

Press the "setup" button twice. You should see either "dIS" or "Inv" on the display. Pressing the "count/reset" button will toggle between the two modes. With "Inv" showing on the display, press the "setup" button again, to leave the setup menu.
