I am a Senior Research Data Scientist at the University of Birmingham. Prior to this role, I worked at The Alan Turing Insitute as a Data Wrangler. My background training is as a research scientist, with a PhD in Neuroscience, specialising in neuroimaging methods and neurovascular health.

The role of the Scientific Advisory Group is to provide advice to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) on the overall scientific direction and strategic priorities for its Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD) service.

In 2025 I was accepted onto the SSI Fellowship programme. The main goals of the Programme are to improve and promote good computational practice across all research disciplines and support those who are doing this important work. My fellowhip plans will promote and enhance the activities of the Physiopy community.
