JayKisan is a Django-based web application designed to assist farmers with various agricultural tasks. This README provides instructions on how to set up and run the application locally.
Before you begin, ensure you have met the following requirements:
- Python 3.8 or higher installed on your machine.
- Git installed on your machine.
- Navigate to the FarmerApp GitHub repository (replace with your actual repository link).
- Click on the "Fork" button at the top right corner of the page.
After forking the repository, clone it to your local machine by running:
git clone https://github.com/your-username/Jay_Kisan.git
###Create a Virtual Environment
cd Jay_Kisan
python -m venv .venv
###Activate the Virtual Environment
Activate the virtual environment with the following command:
On Windows:
.venv\Scripts\activate
On macOS/Linux:
source .venv/bin/activate
###Install Required Packages
pip install -r requirements.txt
###Navigate to the FarmerApp Directory
cd FarmerApp
###Run the Application
python manage.py runserver
