Using CoolTerm

CoolTerm is a nice serial monitor that I use and let's you capture data really well.
Go download CoolTerm: https://freeware.the-meiers.org
I took all these screenshots on a Mac but it should be transferable to other platforms.

These are the changes I usually make when opening a new capture for the first time.




To start a capture go to the menu shown and click start
, when you are done capturing make sure to go back and click stop
to make sure that all data is saved to the file.
