CS416 DataVisualization Final Project -- “Is this world really getting better?”
Backgournd Information: In general, this world is improving in many areas, such as the economy, technology, education, safety. World’s average Human Development Index is increasing steadily from 2010 to 2019 (United Nations Development Programme, 2020), but some countries are still losing scores at HDI. What are these countries and how do these countries look like? How about some negative indexes? such as inflation rate, intentional homicides, unemployment rate, or suicide mortality. The interesting question is some countries are suffering high suicide mortality even under a high HDI background of. Holding these questions, users will explore more and learn more in this project.
