It's not base64, it's not seemingly Ascii85 (or the deflate headers are off), but I am adding it as an example to help future decorders

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Documentation
    • Expanded the documentation by adding a detailed example showcasing MIAM messages with encoded data for the A350-900.
    • Updated information to confirm and preserve the decoder’s ability to partially reassemble and decode messages.

Walkthrough

The documentation in research/MA.md has been updated with a new example (Example 2) that provides multiple lines of garbled MIAM messages from the A350-900. Additionally, the line referencing the libacars decoder has been modified to ensure its information on partial message reassembly and decoding remains intact. No changes were made to exported or public entities.

Changes

File Change Summary
research/MA.md - Added Example 2 featuring multi-line garbled MIAM messages from the A350-900.
- Updated the libacars decoder line to preserve its partial reassembly and decoding details.

Poem

Hop along the coding lane,
A new example is here to explain.
Garbled bytes in a playful spree,
A350’s secret in lines we see.
I, a bunny, cheer with glee! 🐰

Chat

There are 3 ways to chat with CodeRabbit:

  • Review comments: Directly reply to a review comment made by CodeRabbit. Example:
    • I pushed a fix in commit <commit_id>, please review it.
    • Generate unit testing code for this file.
    • Open a follow-up GitHub issue for this discussion.
  • Files and specific lines of code (under the "Files changed" tab): Tag @coderabbitai in a new review comment at the desired location with your query. Examples:
    • @coderabbitai generate unit testing code for this file.
    • @coderabbitai modularize this function.
  • PR comments: Tag @coderabbitai in a new PR comment to ask questions about the PR branch. For the best results, please provide a very specific query, as very limited context is provided in this mode. Examples:
    • @coderabbitai gather interesting stats about this repository and render them as a table. Additionally, render a pie chart showing the language distribution in the codebase.
    • @coderabbitai read src/utils.ts and generate unit testing code.
    • @coderabbitai read the files in the src/scheduler package and generate a class diagram using mermaid and a README in the markdown format.
    • @coderabbitai help me debug CodeRabbit configuration file.

Note: Be mindful of the bot's finite context window. It's strongly recommended to break down tasks such as reading entire modules into smaller chunks. For a focused discussion, use review comments to chat about specific files and their changes, instead of using the PR comments.

29-31: Specify Language for Fenced Code Blocks
Multiple fenced code blocks in this document (e.g. at lines 29, 33, 37, 41, 45, 49, and 53) are missing language identifiers. To adhere to markdownlint guidelines (MD040) and improve clarity (and potential syntax highlighting in some renderers), consider adding a language specifier—for example, use text if these blocks are intended as raw output examples.

Also applies to: 33-35, 37-39, 41-43, 45-47, 49-51, 53-55

🧰 Tools
🪛 markdownlint-cli2 (0.17.2)

29-29: Fenced code blocks should have a language specified
null

(MD040, fenced-code-language)

67-68: Clarify Decoder Capabilities and Deflate Header Considerations
The updated note stating that libacars appears to have a decoder capable of partially reassembling and decoding the messages is clear and useful. In light of the PR objectives—where it is mentioned that the content is neither base64 nor Ascii85—it may be helpful to explicitly note that this example could indicate nonstandard deflate headers. Such a note would further assist decoder developers in troubleshooting header issues.

25-28: New Example 2 Addition
The new "Example 2 (from D-AIXQ, an A350-900)" section is a valuable addition that provides extra context for decoding MIAM messages. It aids future decoder implementations by expanding the range of provided examples.
