How to use RPS scripts

Q: How do I use the scripts located at: https://github.com/daren-thomas/rps-sample-scripts and other similar scripts?

A: You can add these scripts to the Ribbon using the configuration dialog. Add them as "external scripts". See these links for more information:

Installation

Q: RPS crashes Revit when starting the interactive shell on Windows 8.1 but external scripts still work fine. Why?

A: This has been reported (once) in the wild - it seems having a standalone installation of IronPython 2.7 (x86) as opposed to IronPython 2.7 (x64) messes with some parts of RPS. Uninstall IronPython 32 bit first and try again - if that doesn't help, cry for help on the discussion group
