This project is a Chrome extension that utilizes OpenAI's text-davinci model to generate messages based on chat history. With this extension, you can streamline your communication by generating personalized messages without having to spend time typing them out.
Clone this repository to your local machine. Open the Google Chrome browser and navigate to the extensions page (chrome://extensions). Enable developer mode by toggling the switch in the top right corner. Click on the "Load unpacked" button and select the cloned repository folder.
Navigate to any chat platform or social media platform where you want to generate messages. Open the extension by clicking on the extension icon in the top right corner of the browser. Click on the "Generate" button to generate a personalized message based on the chat history. Edit the message if needed and send it. API Key To use this extension, you will need to obtain an OpenAI API key. You can do this by signing up for OpenAI's API program on their website. Once you have obtained the API key, add it to the foreground.js file in the following line of code:
