The latter is a friendly fork of the first that guarantees compatibility with all supported Python versions. Regenerate the parser: the changes to the generated code are purely cosmetic.
Support for Python 3.8 has been removed in Beancount master branch, support for Python 3.9 is broken, see beancount/beancount#923.
