Gap is an interactive historical explorer app made with C++ and written on Visual Studio 2022. Designed for curious minds and history lovers, it allows users to learn about and explore various historical events in a clean and organized way. Users have a variety of ways to explore already existing historical events, from sorting them to searching them. It’s perfect for students, teachers, or anyone who’s curious about the past. You don’t need to be a history expert — just start exploring and you might discover something new and exciting.

Gap is designed with clarity and user experience in mind. Here's what it can do:

- 👤Signup System: Secure registration with validation for input fields.

- 🔍Search Engine: Search by date, author, theme, and more.

- 📅Date-Sorted Timeline: Linked list-based event list displayed in chronological order.

- 📁Library: See sorted by theme events for easier visualisation.

- 🧾File Handling: Evens are read from and saved to a JSON file.

- 👥Profile System: View and edit your profile across multiple pages.

💻 How to Run the App

Our application doesn't have a release yet, so you will need to download and run it manually.

Clone the repository:

Open the solution and build it. That’s it — now you’re exploring history in style!
