Bj-Restaurant App

Overview

Bj-Restaurant is a mobile application built using the Flutter framework and integrated with Firebase services. This app aims to enhance the restaurant dining experience by allowing customers to view the restaurant's menu, place orders, and make reservations seamlessly. With an elegant user interface and Firebase integration, restaurant owners can efficiently manage orders and reservations, while customers can enjoy a convenient and delightful dining experience.

Features

• Browse Menu: Customers can explore the restaurant's menu, view dishes, and their descriptions.

• Place Orders: Users can select dishes from the menu, customize them (if applicable), and place orders directly from their devices.

• Reservations: Customers can make table reservations for their preferred date and time.

• User Authentication: Sign up and log in to access personalized features like order history and reservation management.

• Order Status Tracking: Customers can track the status of their placed orders, i.e., cooking, ready for pickup, or on the way.

• Push Notifications: Receive real-time notifications for order updates and reservation confirmations.

• Admin Panel: Restaurant owners can manage orders, update the menu, and handle reservation requests from the admin panel.

Firebase Integration

The Bj-Restaurant app leverages Firebase services to provide a seamless experience and real-time data updates. The following Firebase services are used in the app:

• Firebase Authentication: User authentication is handled using Firebase Authentication, allowing customers to sign up, log in, and reset their passwords securely.

• Firestore Database: Restaurant data, menu items, orders, and reservations are stored and synced across devices using Firestore Database.

• Firebase Cloud Messaging: To enable push notifications for order updates and reservation confirmations, Firebase Cloud Messaging is used.

• Firebase Storage: Store images of menu items and other assets in Firebase Storage.

Installation

1. Clone the repository from GitHub:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/Bj-Restaurant-App.git

2. Ensure you have the Flutter SDK installed on your system. If not, follow the instructions on the official Flutter website to install Flutter.

3. Set up Firebase Project and download the google-services.json file. Place it in the android/app directory of the project.

4. Install the required packages by running the following command:

flutter pub get

5. Run the app on your device or emulator:

flutter run

Note: Make sure you have the appropriate SDK versions installed for Android and iOS if you plan to run the app on real devices.
