Project context
For the Max CFI project, we are working toward displaying the max rating notice for all conditions that a Veteran is at the maximum for (Build Max Ratings API) and providing educational content that helps Veterans understand what it means to be at the maximum rating for a condition and what their options are (this milestone). We hypothesize that this will reduce employee burden with a secondary effect of increasing Veteran satisfaction. In terms of employee burden, we believe we'll be able to make the most impact with the top 10 or so conditions that are most likely to be claimed (and denied) at the max.
Definition of done
- Desk research conducted on other pathways for compensation when a Veteran is already at the maximum rating for a condition (other than getting an increase)
- R/VSR research conducted about these other pathways for compensation to learn about the pathways that are most common, for which conditions, how Veterans hear about these options, and how raters make decisions on these options
- New content created based on findings from extraschedular ratings research, R/VSR research, and feedback from Veterans/CAIA/OPO/CS
- New content implemented
