Summary - What I changed
Tunes the
Suspicious Microsoft 365 Mail Access by ClientAppId
rule to expand whitelist of client application IDs. Analysis was done to identify what are the most common app IDs observed for this rule across all customers to determine ideal candidates for excluding. This tuning reduces 99% of all FPs we observed within the last 90 days. This rule also overlaps with detection strategies for Void Blizzard whereMailItemsAccessed
is observed to access email data.How To Test
