I like to build complex things in a simple way and to make existing things better, faster, stronger, and cheaper. I am attracted to technically challenging topics and cross-disciplinary teams.
To read or download my book about Functional Programming (6k+ readers), go to leanpub/fpmortals.
I'm currently hacking on projects in digital electronics (8-bit computer from transistors), analog neuromorphic ideas, 3D printing, and astronomy (image capture and auto-guiding).
I have a strong backgound in Java, Scala, Lisp, and Haskell; but I tend to prefer to build things in Rust, Python, and C++ on the grounds of tooling, popularity, performance, and cost at scale. I'm a Grug Brained Developer.
