Docker-compose for WordPress development

• At the moment, docker-compose file only contains three services(MySQL, PHPMyAdmin & WordPress)
• The WordPress volume is mounted to the host operating system(Windows etc.). So, that developers can make changes in the code easily.
• Contributions are strongly welcome

Setup Guide

• Clone the repository
• Go inside the directory where you cloned
• Run docker-compose up
• Login to PHPMyAdmin. If you didn't change the port then it will be available on http://localhost.8081. You don't need to enter host. Only username and password are enough.
• Create database
• Access WordPress URL. If you didn't change the port then it will be available on http://localhost.8000. Complete the installation.
• Thats it

Note

• Update the database configuration as per your requirements before running the containers
