This project is supposed to replace the well known unix tools to add/remove/modify users and groups with some that interact with LDAP. For this we chose ruby and the ruby gem ActiveLDAP.
Since this project is just beginning to develop I could really need some help with coding, bugfixing and espacially with ideas on what could be useful. At first just interaction with users and groups is planned, but further action for mailaliases etc is possible.

A short description on a simple testing setup will follow. Maybe even a puppet recipie… :)
