History
The idea to overhaul the current version is not that new, but the ignition on really going for it came up during a ‘Make it Happen’ session at J! and Beyond event in Prague in early 2015. Since then the Joomla 4 Working Group was created and announced publicly, and some of the great developers of our community are going for the challenge to get the code ready.
The basic architecture was defined during a three days sprint at the redWEB office in Odense, Denmark.
Official report of the Odense sprint
In another sprint, the UX team joined in, and the Page concept evolved.
Official report of the Athens sprint is not yet available.
The working group is meeting once a week to discuss progress and issues.
