New Features

The previous release let you control the chamber light using the BambuLights GUI. This release implements the reverse control - if you turn off the chamber light (for example with BambuHandy) BambuLights will also turn off the led strip. Turning the chamber light back on will turn the led strip back on.

Installation

Update From Previous Version

To update from previous version (0.2.0 or 0.3.0) you can go to http://bambulights.local/update (username update, password secretsauce) and upload the the files bl_littlefs-0.3.3.bin and firmware-bambulights-0.3.3.bin

New Install

Use a Web Browser to install the firmware and configure the WiFi for the latest version here.

Alternatively you can install these binaries using the Adafruit Web Tools:

  • Go the the Adafruit Web Tools page.
  • Set the the baud rate to 921600
  • Use the table below to upload the files. The web tools page only allows you to upload 4 files at once. Do the first four first, then the last one:
