tiny-radioCD just needs to be connected to speakers so that you can listen to music.
Should you have a wired default soundcard (HDMI-out or built-in speakers for instance), tiny-radioCD will just play music as it finishes starting-up.
If you use Bluetooth speakers, you first need to pair with it.
Please check easy-setup page to pair via config file, or choose to pair via command-line with bluetoothctl
.
You may also pair with bluetooth remotes, or connect a keyboard.
Once setup, tiny-radioCD will either play inserted AudioCD or pre-defined web Radios at startup (if network is available).
Play/Pause, Next, Previous keys will naturally operate the player as expected.
CD will always take precedence: inserting a new CD will start playing it in sequence.
tiny-radioCD will loop playlists by default.
You may pair several bluetooth speakers/headphones or car systems.
By default tiny-radio-CD will try to re-use last-used speaker if available.
If not available it will switch to first known available speaker.
Should you wish to switch to another paired turned-on speaker, you may hit Play/Pause twice rapidly (in less than 1 second).
tiny-radioCD will then try to connect to another known speaker.
Hitting Play/Pause and then quickly Next (in less than 1 second) will eject CD
Hitting Play/Pause and then quickly Previous (in less than 1 second) will power-OFF tiny-radioCD.
Other functions may be available with Bluetooth remote control (Switch playlists, restart playlist, Shuffle, Restart, Update,...).
Check remote mapping, or adjust it to your own preference.
If connected to a LAN network (see easy-setup) you may use a mpc client application from your phone, tablet, PC.
Such application UI will allow to fully operate the player, manipulate playlists, etc...
In Files section you will notice a --Menu-- folder: it contains some additional functions such as Restart, Poweroff, Update, etc...
Note: Update function pulls the latest code from Github Master branch, applies it and restarts tiny-radioCD.
While wifi settings and paired devices will be kept, some other customized settings may need to be re-applied (check easy-setup).
